Volunteer opportunities where YOU live! We are seeking volunteers that would like to help promote Dogs for the Deaf through fund-raising events, promotions, festivals, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Dogs for the Deaf relies on volunteer interviewers throughout the United States to interview potential clients. This is an ideal opportunity for people who want to volunteer but do not live close to the Dogs for the Deaf facility.
Spend time with dogs in training at the Dogs for the Deaf facility in Central Point, Oregon. Volunteers supervise dog's playtime and take dogs for walks.

Filing, packing and paperwork are some of the ways our office volunteers help keep the office running smoothly.
Docents (Tour Guides)
Perfect for people who are outgoing, comfortable speaking in public, may enjoy conducting tours of the Dogs for the Deaf facility. Being a docent is a terrific way to help Dogs for the Deaf educate the public about our special work.
Ambassadors serve as representatives of Dogs for the Deaf in their local areas. Ambassadors should be comfortable with public speaking. They give presentations to a variety of groups, educating them about our misson and programs. Ambassadors are entrusted with the responsibility of representing the organization in a professional manner. If selected as an Ambassador we will provide you with the necessary training and materials. If you are interested in becoming a Ambassador, please contact us for an application.
Public Relations Volunteers
If you are part of a group or club and would like to support the mission of Dogs for the Deaf, contact the Development Director for fundraising ideas, to receive the Dogs for the Deaf DVD and copies of our magazine to distribute to people in your area.
